Gallery: Raw-Edge Applique
Click on each to see full quilt and more information
The quilts in this gallery are constructed with a method called "raw-edge applique." Patches are tacked to the foundation fabric and then sewn around by machine, sometimes with a decorative stitch or thread. This method invites me to embellish. A happy, out-of-control collector of buttons, sequins, labels and general "junk," I put some of my best specimens on display.
